This application, as built, stores the following categories of data that a real Privacy Policy would need to address:

  • Account data: email address, name, phone number, role, and approval status
  • Business data: products, stock levels, purchase orders, sales invoices, and customer/supplier contact details entered by each organization
  • Activity logs: user, action, timestamp, and IP address, for audit purposes

A real Privacy Policy would additionally need to cover, at minimum:

  • What data is collected and why
  • How data is stored, secured, and for how long it is retained
  • Whether data is shared with any third parties (e.g. payment processors, hosting providers)
  • Users' rights over their own data (access, correction, deletion) and how to exercise them
  • Cookie/session usage
  • Contact details for privacy-related requests
